The Compass Rose
The impetus behind the Compass Rose Institute for Leadership was to develop a leadership program that supports the University and the Luter School mission to develop students into productive leaders. The Luter School is home to more than 10 student organizations and interest groups. The mission of the Compass Rose Institute for Leadership is to develop students that are intending to major in business into strong leaders so they can help lead organizations within the Luter School, the University and the greater community. The Compass Rose Institute for Leadership sponsored guest speakers in education and business and provided an exciting and memorable experience for students. Topics included leadership styles, interpersonal communication, and gender differences in leadership, group dynamics and many more. The institute was an excellent opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and build a strong network of friends and other leaders on campus.
