John Wilcox is currently the Vice President-Strategic Planning for Ferguson Enterprises. However, his journey to this position began in 1983 at the college of William and Mary. After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration, John was hired by Ferguson as part of the Management Trainee Program in Raleigh, North Carolina. After only eight years John was appointed as president and general manager of the Radford, Virginia branch network. He went on to hold that title in both Raleigh and Beltsville, Maryland. In 2001, John was chosen as director of strategic planning and two years later was promoted to Vice President of that sector. Along the way John was awarded for his exemplary leadership skills including: Manager of Supply House of the Year in 1995/1996, 19981999, and 2000/2001, as well as the Corporate Leadership award in 2000/2001. John demands high ideals of himself as he continues to gain education through executive education programs such as: the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and Stanford Executive Program. John currently resides in Williamsburg, Virginia, home of his alma mater.
